Introduction:

BioTrends Research Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of Special Report: Opportunities in Ophthalmology for 2011. In this report, current trends in the management of ophthalmological disorders and remaining areas of unmet needs are examined from the perspective of ophthalmologists. Respondents are also asked about their perceptions of companies active in the ophthalmology market and interest in late stage pipeline products. Special Reports are syndicated report series that provide an opportunity to dig deeper into areas of current interest in the market.

Scope:

Sample Frame & Methodology:

- This report will include responses from 100+ respondents

- Respondents will complete a 45 minute online quantitative survey with several open-ended questions for qualitative feedback

- A qualitative follow up arm includes telephone interviews conducted with a subset of 20+ survey respondents

Screening Criteria:

- Be in active clinical practice as an ophthalmologist

- See a minimum of 100 patients per month

- Have been in practice a minimum of 2 year and a maximum of 30 years

- More than 50% of time spent in clinical practice

Deliverables:

- Final report in powerpoint format

- Complete set of frequency tables, summary statistics, and cross tabulations

- Proprietary slide deck and frequency tables

- Clients purchasing prior to fielding will have the opportunity to include up to three proprietary questions in each wave

- Responses to proprietary questions will be provided only to those sponsors and will not be included in the syndicated version of the report but provided under separate cover
